In this economic crisis you need to be even more savvy. Don’t get caught paying those hight commissions to your travel agents. Now lets go to the main question: How would you save this money and put them back to your wallet?
Cruise is # 1 choice for vacations  cause on a cruise vacation you can see many different places and have a time full of entertainment on board and on shore excursions. This is way so many peoples choice cruise travel for their vacations. According to Florida – Caribbean Cruise Association there were 12.800.000 cruisers in 2008.  Even  it was an economical crisis there was an increase of 200,000 passengers from last year. In 2008 80% of the cruises were booked through travel agents in different places of the world. That means that 48 million $ was been paid to travel agents in 2008. Hmmmm, 48 million dollar is not so bad for a few clicks in front of an computer.

Using this method you have to make some research on cruise ships 1-2 week before start and book your cruise vacation last days. The closer the departure day gets, better price you will get. The only bad thing using this tip is that you can be limited on cabin choices so you will take what you can get.
2. Second cheap Cruise booking method is to take a one-way cruise.
Look for cruise lines that have to change their ships port cities. This type of cruises are called “repositioning cruises”. In this way you have much cheaper cruise travel vacation but you will not have much fun you have on a real cruise travel vacation cause in repositioning cruises there not much people so there are not much thing to do on board. This type of cruises last 7-20 days and during this days you can visit different ports and you can have a great experience on land. Cruise line companies offer  group cruise travel packages. This group travel packages cost less per person. Some cruise companies give a free room when you are in group of 8-10 people so you can split the cost among the group and you can save money.

4. Take Cruise travel on off-peak seasons.
Taking a cruise travel vacation during the busy times of the year would cost you a lot of money.
