Dining is an event on a luxury cruise ship. It’s not just a meal. You must be dressed elegantly like you are in a luxury New York restaurant. And you can enjoy delicious and innovative meals prepared by top chefs. You will find the real meaning of entertainment. And it won’t be crowded like a mega ship cruise. You can take a luxury cruise with 100 passengers or as many as 2500.
Luxury Cruise Lines With Larger Ships
Crystal Cruises
Crystal Cruises is famous for smooth service and extensive cuisine. Crystal’s Adventures offers passengers shore excursions which will probably blow your mind. Depending on your cruise itinerary, you can fly a MiG fighter jet or go bobsledding in Lillehammer, for example. When you book your European cruise on Crystal, make sure the itinerary you choose includes the Creative Learning Institute (CLI). With CLI onboard, you can partake in any number of unique classes, everything from Chinese painting to to acting classes. Crystal has two ships cruising Europe, the 940-passenger Crystal Symphony and the 1,080-passenger Crystal Serenity. Crystal offers dozens of itineraries in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
Cunard
Cunard has two luxury cruise ships, the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Elizabeth 2.
The Queen Mary 2 is a return to the glamor of transatlantic cruising. It is carefully designed, from the exclusive Grand Canyon Ranch Spa, the grand sweeping staircase at the entrance to the 3-story Britannia restaurant. The 2,620-passenger Queen Mary 2 offers incredible entertainment and enrichment opportunities.
Recently updated, the Queen Elizabeth 2 has traveled the Atlantic in great style for years. Everything is first class on this luxury cruise ship, and features many of the same amenities also provided on the Queen Mary 2.
Cunard’s fleet cruises the world, and offers 10- to 16-day cruises in the Mediterranean, Europe, and Scandinavia, as well as transatlantic voyages round trip from New York City in the U.S.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Regent’s European cruise itineraries have two ships in their fleet, 700-passenger Seven Seas Voyager and the 490-passenger Seven Seas Navigator. Both ships are considerably bigger than usual ships and designed to carry twice the passenger load. Therefore, they are not crowded like other ships.
The accommodations on both ships are amazing. All of the staterooms on the Voyager are suites with balconies, and you will only find suites on the Navigator. Regent is not big on usual entertainment. It doesn’t provide many onboard activities like other luxury cruise lines. But, they offer themed programs like food and wine. Regent offers 7-14 day itineraries throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as a 111-day, 26-nation World Cruise aboard the Voyager.

Queen Mary 2 is still among the largest and most beautiful ships of the world. Really like it much, but in my eyes it is quite conservative. If she creates more entertainments for young people it will be perfect.
