If you are a first time cruisers than there will be many things you don’t know about cruise ships and cruise vacations. Cruise ship is a floating resort and cruise vacations can be a magical vacation if you do your homework right. To help you about your cruise vacation planning homework we are going to help you to make your trip even more magical. Here are 10 tips to make your cruise vacation more magical.
- If you don’t know anything about cruise use a travel agent who specializes in cruises. They can book almost everything for you, from on board amenities to shore excursions.
- Before booking check that the cruise is suitable for you and for your family. If you have children make sure the cruise is kids friendly and if you don’t like kids then book a ONLY adults cruise.
- Book the second seating for your dinner. Booking second dinner will give you more time for your shore.
- excursions and this mean you aren’t rushing back to get dinner. But if you have kids book the first seating because kids can not wait till 8 PM for their dinner.
- Above I mentioned rushing back from shore excursions. The best option for shore excursions is to rent a car. For a group of people renting a car is cheaper instead of paying for shore excursions. If you book your car in advance you can rent it even cheaper and the car will be waiting for you at the port the day when you arrive.
- Buy the drinks bracelet. Soft drinks will cheaper And with no limit for your kids.
- They will take professional photos on the cruise and will try to sell them to you. Don’t buy all the photos immediately. In the end of the cruise there will be a price drop and you can buy them cheaper.
- If you dont like crowds get a cabin with balcony. This will be a little more expensive but a balcony is a great retreat from the crowds.
- There are events and activities every night on cruise and i am sure that you dont want to miss a thing so read the ships activities every night.
- There are Dress codes on cruises even if they dont mention it on their website or brochure and it would be better if you obey them. Take a smart set of clothes just in case.
