Common annoyance with cruise travel
Cockroach isn’t the only thing to survive time, so as problems. Apart from the enjoyable part that clouds our mind on cruise vacations there are complaints too, even in the best cruise that money can find you.
The one most important complaint is the queue that you find everywhere. From food eateries to recreational centers you find the long queues irritating. Also there are the advertisements that make you doubt whether you are in a cruise or somewhere in Vegas. This complaint extends to the on-board intercom announcements that explain endlessly on the shows, promotional events and sales on different shops.
Extra costs have also affected the otherwise wonderful cruising experience. With the wife and kids on tag and the amount of advertisements on board, it is hard to save your wallets health. And adding to the woes is the extra taxing on the wine that you consume. It is always conveniently forgotten by some waiters that there is a 15% tax on the wine consumed by you. Unknowing of the above fact you tend to pick the best that is usually expensive than the one you intended, that leaves you at a loss as how the expense after all the calculations exceeded your expectations.
Also there is this factor that general tips are expected of the guests on cruises by the porters and other service staffs. This has nowadays become more of a demand than a token of reward. These service people stand in front of guests expecting general tip which is not usually a welcome attitude for the guests. It is a matter of discomfort rather than the money factor. Having a waiter or a porter smiling at you expecting a small fee when you want to spend your time with loved ones is what makes situation worse.
These are some of the problems that the cruise travelers constantly grumble about in common.
